People who experience urinary and faecal incontinence are dealing with a socially stigmatising condition. As health and social care professionals it is important to support people sensitively, enquire about symptoms in high-risk groups for example frail elderly, dementia sufferers, those with learning disabilities, and neurological disease. This course will ensure you have the relevant skills, training and experience to provide good person-centred continence support and care integrated with other professionals.
